Congratulations: as a Web publisher you've been approved for complimentary access to Britannica Online. This message contains the information you'll need to sign up for your free one-year subscription to our Web site, which includes the entire Encyclopædia Britannica as well as many other sources of information and rich multimedia.

I hope you'll use the site regularly. It's good for personal and professional research, answering questions, and for enriching your Web site with knowledge and information that provides context to and rounds out the topics you write about.

On that last note, let me point out that you can make any Britannica article available to your readers simply by linking to it from your site. That's right. Even though portions of the site normally require a subscription to access them, there's an exception: when a Web site links to a Britannica article, Web surfers who click on that link get that article in its entirety. You can link to as many articles as you like, as often as you like.

And please go to britannicanet.com for a host of special tools that will help you use Britannica features and content to enhance your site.

If you have any questions, please let us know.

Best wishes,

J.C. Miller
